Here’s my Chevron Scarf pre-blocked:
Pattern: Chevron Scarf (from the book Last-Minute Knitted Gifts)
Started: Monday, August 27 2007
Finished: Saturday, October 27 2007
Yarn: Red Rocks Fiber Works
Colors: Artichoke & One Wild Night
Needles: Size 6US Circular (I’m finding that I like using circular needles, whether I need them or not!)
I love this pattern! It was very easy to memorize and a great portable project! :)
The pattern called for 2 skeins of each color, but I only used 1 of each and it’s plenty long!! I think it ended up being about 72″.
Charlie is “overseeing” the scarf blocking.
Charlie just LOVES your yarn, Mary-Kay!!
After licking the yarn, Charlie tried to pull it closer to her. This is exactly why I knew blocking knitted items at my place would not be a good idea! But, not to worry. I closed the scarf in the bedroom and it stayed safe from harm. Of course, we had to watch Charlie when we did go into the bedroom for any reason…she’s very sneaky and determined when it come to yarn!
Beautiful! I love the color combinations. Your “supervisor” is awfully cute too…

Charlie wants a knitted “Kitti Pi” bed. That’s what she (he?) is trying to tell you.
Of course, anyone would want to wrap up in Mary Kay’s yarn.
You did a wonderful job on the scarf.

I love your chevron scarf and the colours you have chosen. I got a good giggle from the shots of Charlie — especially the one where she’s upside down and rolling over it! Funny :)

Awwww, beautiful!!!! The scarf as well as Charlie!!! Charlie as well as the scarf!!! Actually, Charlie and the scarf together – or the scarf and Charlie together – make some stunning beauty indeed! And you know, having such a little furry helper with the blocking is of course something very special indeed! ;)

Oh Terrie, it looks awesome! I love seeing my yarn all knit up! You did an excellent job. The best pictures is Charlie on her back. Soooooo cute! Maybe it’s the smell of the wool? My kitties do the same thing. Hmmmm.
