It’s Working!

Since I’ve never tried the Magic Loop method before, I decided I should make the practice socks from 2-at-a-Time Socks before I use my lovely sock yarn.

The book suggests using 2 different colors so you don’t get confused about which sock you’re working on. I had this Peaches & Cream yarn that was begging to be knit into something:

Practice Socks

The first few rows were pretty awkward, but then I got the hang of it! Of course, these are child-size socks, and I haven’t gotten to the heel yet, but so far, so good :D

  1. Look at you go!! Nachaele taught me the Turkish Cast on for toe-up socks and I am hooked. Once I have this down, I am going to be all over 2 socks on 2 circs!

  2. Whooo hooo! I knew you could do it. Just follow the instructions at the heel, and I’m sure you’ll be fine.
