Maybe the Easter Bunny will bring me some Peeps, like Daisy got to eat!
Speaking of bunnies, I recently found out about The “Make Mine Chocolate!™” campaign:
Each year, unwanted, former Easter rabbits fill local rabbit rescues and humane societies. The goal of the “Make Mine Chocolate!™” campaign is to break the cycle of acquisition and relinquishment by educating the public about the responsibilities involved in keeping a companion rabbit before a rabbit is brought home.
It makes me so sad to hear about animals who are given up because they have become “inconvenient” to their owners. I hope this campaign can help make people aware that rabbits (an any other pet) are a big commitment and take a lot of work, and love, to care for! Check out their site for more information. Easter’s no fun for a real bun!
I hope the Easter Buddy brings you lots of delicious treats! I love Easter season on account of I get to eat a Peep. I only get to eat the head off one though, because my Mommeh says it is too sugary.

Love the “Make mine chocolate” campaign. I did have rabbits most of my childhood, but there’s no way I could have one now!

Do you remember the bunny you won at the Edgerton carnival one Memorial day weekend? We eventually let him run free and he lived across the road under the Tellefson rabbits. While he was still on our side of the road, he would come to “Here Bunny, Bunny, Bunny!” :)
