Over the weekend I made a couple cards for Layton’s Legacy.
This beautiful card drive & fundraiser blog hop was created by Lea Lawson who lost her little boy Layton on November 17, 2016. Please read Lea’s blog post for more information and how you can participate, if you are interested!
I made my cards based on the theme/moodboard Lea put together, shown below.
Since I’m still somewhat new to stamping, I didn’t have very many stamp set options to choose from. Instead, I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the images for my cards.
First up is this mountain scene card:
I used adhesive backed cardstock for the trees to add a bit of texture and dimension.
My second card uses this sunshine cut file:
I love how bright and happy this card is. Hopefully these will brighten someone’s day in the NICU.
