It’s Almost Christmas

As always, I seem to get started too late to make as many Christmas cards as I want to. :) Below are a few of the cards I’ve made and mailed out this year. Still working on the cards I will be hand delivering this week!

These are the first cards I made in early November. I used the fun Christmas Cheer Turnabout stamp and Ribbon Banner die from Concord and 9th. I sent these to Vera for her Caring Hearts Card Drive. Next year I want to start sooner so I have more cards to share. :)

This cute card was made with the Alpaca Holiday Stamps and Alpaca Holiday dies from Sunny Studio Stamps. I stamped the mountains twice to have them cover the whole card, and then masked them off to ink blend the sky and snow drifts. I used Multi Medium Matte glue to add glitter for the snow on top of the mountain peaks. The mountains and alpacas were colored with colored pencils.

I made this shaker card using the Mod Poinsettia Oval die from Simon Says Stamp. I cut it from a gold paper, and then several times from white paper to build up the space for shaker sequins. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the exclusive Joy of the Season stamp set by Gina K. Designs.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday! And to anyone who is struggling during this time, I am sending big hugs your way.

  1. I love them all so much! I truly cherish holiday cards and it makes me sad that fewer people send them out with every passing year. You know, I should really start up a holiday card exchange, like a cookie swap but one that we can do across all nations (and blogs.) 2020, I guess…
