Dam Good Day

Hi friends! I hope you’re having a great week.

Today I’m sharing a masculine card I made for a family friend. I cut down a piece of wood grain cardstock to use as the background and adhered it to a white card base. Next I stamped the circle wood grain onto a piece of darker brown cardstock with white pigment ink and set aside to dry. Once dry, I used a circle die to cut it out. I stamped the sentiment and cute beaver onto white card stock. After coloring the beaver with colored pencils, I used the coordinating die to cut it out, and one of the banner dies for the sentiment.

Then I adhered everything to the card base as shown. I love these little stamp sets from Lawn Fawn…they have the cutest images and fun matching sentiments :)

I realized I never shared this, so here’s a bonus card I made for my Dad for Father’s Day:

After stamping the outdoor scene on a piece of white cardstock, I stamped it again on masking tape. I placed this over the trees and bushes so I could ink blend the sky and grass. Then I removed the mask and used colored pencils to color the trees and bushes. Finally, I stamped the sentiment and adhered the panel to a white card base.

Thanks for stopping by :) Enjoy your day!
