Hi friends! I hope you’re having a good start to the week.
Last month my father-in-law had knee surgery, and I wanted to make him a get well card. His favorite color is green, and I’m always looking for masculine cards, so I thought this would be a good design for him.

It’s fun to make cards with more die cut elements sometimes :) I used a background die with some light gray cardstock and adhered it to a white cardbase. I like that the die is a bit smaller than the card so there’s a nice border. Next I used the smaller leaf die to cut 2 leaf clusters out of dark green cardstock. With the larger leaf die I used a lighter green cardstock, then I cut the top off so I could adhere everything to the card as shown. I also trimmed off the edges of some leaves so nothing went beyond the edge of the gray background.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock, trimmed it with a banner die and adhered to the card.
I’m happy to say my FIL is doing very well after his surgery and is having great progress with his physical therapy :)
Thanks for stopping by :) Have a wonderful day!
I’m also submitting this card to Simon Says: What’s Your Favorite Color? challenge.
