Happy February friends! I hope you’re doing well. Today I’m sharing a couple Valentine’s cards I made for my sister and parents.

Isn’t this koala so cute!? I stamped it onto white cardstock and colored it with colored pencils. Then I stamped the image again, along with the sentiment, to get crisp black lines and used the coordinating die to cut it out. I also cut the koala 2 more times from white cardstock to give it more dimension. I used a circle die to cut a piece of vellum and glued the koala to the center, then I adhered the circle to a piece of patterned paper cut to the size of my card base.

For my next card, I stamped this sweet quilted hearts background onto white cardstock, then die cut it to the size of my card base. I die cut the heart and banner out of pink and white cardstocks, stamped the sentiment onto the banner, and adhered everything to the card front.

The heart outline is really delicate, so the next time I use this die, I’ll add an adhesive sheet to the back of my cardstock before die cutting. It was a little fiddly trying to put it together without getting glue all over :) But I really like the inlay look!

Thanks for stopping by; have a wonderful day!
I’m also submitting this to the Simon Says: Love Is In The Air challenge
