Happy March friends! I hope your month has been going well. It’s been feeling like Spring here, but I have a feeling we’ll still get another big snow storm before the month is over.
I made a few St. Patrick’s Day cards for my family that I’m sharing today.
These 2 cards are the same, I just used 2 different plaid designs for the background. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut the plaid backgrounds and adhered them to my card bases. Next I stamped my sentiment twice on white cardstock, then die cut with the largest banner die. I used the same banner die on gold glitter paper as well. I glued the white banner on top of the glitter banner, offset a bit so it only shows on the left and bottom, then added it to the middle of the cards with some foam tape.
For my next card I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut shamrocks out of some green textured cardstock.

I did this 3 times to get some dimension, and still ended up adding foam tape to the back for even more dimension. I added small green foil shamrocks, tiny hearts and stars to my card base, then adhered the green panel on top. I should have added more shaker bits, but it looked like a lot when I was adding them. I always seem to have trouble making shaker cards; I’ll just have to keep practicing because I love the look of them, and they’re so fun! :)
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a magical day!
