Chevron Birthday Cards

Hi friends! I hope you’re doing well :)

Today I’m sharing 2 fun cards I made for my father-in-law and nephew for their birthdays. Both cards use this cool chevron background hot foil plate.

On my first card, I used the chevron plate with gold foil on blue cardstock. Then I placed the ‘happy birthday’ sentiment on the background and foiled it in gold. I trimmed the background slightly smaller than my card base and adhered it with foam tape.

For my second card, I used the chevron plate again, this time with silver foil on green cardstock. I trimmed the panel smaller than my card base, flipped it upside down, and adhered to the card base with foam tape. I used the ‘let’s celebrate you’ sentiment with the same silver foil and green cardstock, cut it out with the coordinating die, and adhered to the front on my card with more foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful day!
