Where has the time gone? I can’t believe it’s already New Year’s Eve!! Nathan & I have been really busy…we moved the week before Christmas!

Since we have to move again in about a month, we’re trying to keep unused items in boxes to make it easier next time. I haven’t been able to do much knitting, but I do have 2 finished objects to show you.
My friend Jeni designed this cute cowl:

Pattern: Hedwig Owl Cowl (Rav Link)
Started: Tuesday, December 16, 2008
Finished: Tuesday, December 30, 2008 *
Yarn: Caron Simply Soft in LT Country Blue
Needles: Size US 8
* This was actually a pretty quick knit, I just didn’t get to knit very much with Christmas and moving!
I was also able to finish this scarf to give to my Mom in time for Christmas:

Pattern: Diagonal Lace Scarf (Rav Link)
Started: Tuesday, October 21, 2008
Finished: Friday, December 5, 2008
Yarn: Blue Sky Alpacas Suri Merino in Seamist
Needles: Size US 7
I hope you all have a very safe and Happy New Year’s Eve!!

LOVE the owl cowl… Wonder if MIL’s best friend who loves owls would wear it, or put it with her owl collection?
Happy New Year and good luck with all the moves. (Me? I’d rather take a beating than move…)
