Sheep in Sheep’s Clothing

Over the weekend I knit a little sheep for my friend’s birthday. This was a fun little project to knit up, and it’s so cute I want to make one for myself, too!

Pattern: Sheep in Sheep’s Clothing by Frankie Brown (Rav link)
Started: June 10, 2011
Completed: June 12, 2011
Yarn: Body – Knit Picks Gloss DK in White; Coat – Tahki Yarns Donegal Tweed in Rose Pink

It was a little tricky making the head and face, but I like how it turned out. He looks like he’s listening to something :)

I decided to add a button to the sheep’s coat so it can be taken off. Because, who doesn’t want to have the option of changing looks for different holidays and stuff?!?

Happy birthday, Stacey!! I’m glad you like your little sheepy friend :D

  3. Sorry this is so late, but this is adorable, Terrie! What a nice friend you are. How is the quilting going? I am thinking of taking it up. A friend of my sells hand cranked sewing machines and I have gotten very interested in sewing. She made my civil war outfit and is a beautiful seamstress and quilter.
