I got this cute cross stitch pattern for Christmas:
I started it last week, but haven’t worked on it very much. Yesterday I saw this post for a One Thing, One Week Challenge. The idea is to motivate you to work on one thing. “Finish something, start something, just don’t be overwhelmed by everything – One Thing!”
I know I’ve been a little overwhelmed with what to do since I want to knit things, sew things, and apparently now try cross stitch! I decided I am going to try to finish two of the four rows in this pattern. It’s not very large or difficult, so I think I should be able to accomplish that by the end of the week. Of course, it’s my first cross stitch pattern, so we’ll see what happens!
This is how far I had gotten last week. I finished the partial letter last night, but, for some reason, it took me 3 tries to complete the top of the T! Maybe I was too tired to concentrate on counting properly :)
Hopefully next week I’ll have half of my pattern finished!
Good concept. I used to try to follow it, but I started doing bigger projects and having mojo problems…

I need to make the ‘one thing, one week’ challenge my personal mantra I think.
Love the cross stitch :) I can’t wait to see the finished product!

What a great idea! I also read your three (?) newer posts. Where will you be knitting your hat for FA?
