It’s almost Halloween! Ok, so they aren’t super spooky, but I made these cards for my parents and sister. :)
I made this card for my parents. I die cut this cool tree using the Simon Says Stamp Tree Frame. I ink blended a night sky for the background using Distress Oxide Inks in Broken China, Faded Jeans, and Wilted Violet. I also added a tiny bit of black ink at the very top. Then I used some Sheer Shimmer Spritz in Sparkle to add some glittery stars…too bad you can’t see the lovely sparkle in the photo! I used the fun Pick of the Patch stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn for the pumpkins and sentiment. Nathan suggested using the “squished face” for the tall pumpkin in the middle, and I think it looks pretty cute. :)
This next card is for my sister. It uses most of the same stamps and dies as the card above.
This time I used the same tree frame die, but kept the interior pieces in the tree and cut it out of the frame. It’s cool how different the trees look on each of the cards! I attached the tree to a piece of minc reactive paper with purple foiled stars. I took some matching purple paper and Simon Says Stamp Grassy Edges to create the ground. I stamped the pumpkins and colored them with colored pencils.
On the inside, I added sentiments and more of the cute images from the Pick of the Patch stamp set, also colored with pencils. The spider and web are from Mama Elephant’s Plushoween stamp set.
I hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween!
