Hi friends! I hope you’re having a good weekend.
Recently a friend asked me to make a wedding card. I imagined something simple and elegant, and this is what I came up with.
I love Altenew’s layering stamps, because it makes it so easy to add colors to an image. However, for this card I just used the outline images. I used a watermark ink to stamp the flowers, leaves and sentiment onto white cardstock. Then I added a gold embossing powder and heat set it. I used the coordinating dies to cut the images, and a banner die for the sentiment.
I took a 4.25” x 5.5” piece of white cardstock to create a stitched embossed background and added it to the center of a 5” x 7” card base. I played around with the placement of the stamped images and adhered them as shown. I like how a few of the leaves hang over the edge of the embossed background. I also added some clear drops to finish the card.
Thanks for stopping by :) Have a great day!
