Let’s Celebrate You Card

Happy New Year friends! How is it already almost the end of February?!? I hope the year has started out well for you :)

Today I’m sharing a simple birthday card using lots of pretty purple foil. I started by foiling a piece of music notes patterned paper with my Minc machine and purple foil. Next I used the ‘let’s celebrate you’ sentiment with my Glimmer hot foil machine and a matching purple foil. Then I cut the sentiment out with the corresponding die, cut 2 more pieces out of white cardstock and glued them together for a bit of dimension. Next I glued this sentiment to a strip of translucent vellum.

I trimmed the music notes paper down to just a bit smaller than 4.25″ by 5.5″ and placed the vellum in the middle. I glued the ends to the back of the paper and adhered it to a matching purple piece of cardstock. Then the panel was adhered to a white card base.

Check out how the foil shines in the light!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful day!
