Hi Friends! I hope you had a wonderful 2025 :) I’m looking forward to making more cards and practicing modern calligraphy in the new year. What about you?

I’m starting the year with a very shiny card! I just love the star background panel die I used (sadly, it’s no longer available).
The background panel was used with gold foil paper, and again with white cardstock. I adhered each panel to a white card base. With the gold foil card, I inlaid the white stars, and for the white card, I inlaid the gold stars. I really like how I can pretty quickly get 2 cards using this panel die :)

I’ll save this white card for another time and add a sentiment then. Maybe I’ll use it next Christmas, or for a birthday or congrats card.
I die cut a ribbon banner 3 times from white cardstock, stamped the sentiment on one and glued them together for some dimension. I also die cut a few more stars from gold glitter paper to add to the banner, then adhered as shown to my card.

Thanks for stopping by! Wishing you all the best in 2026!
I’m also submitting cards to the following challenge:
