Knit Night

Tuesday night I went to Knit Knack in Olde Town Arvada. What a cute shop! The have a couple large tables that quite a few people can use, a nice couch and some comfy chairs, and they even have a coffee shop with a yummy Cafe Mocha :)

I joined Nachaele and the Arvada Knitters at a table in the front of the store. I forgot my camera, so you can check out pictures here. Nachaele and I are making a similar capelet/shrug, but she is using 2 different colors, Lime Light and Caribbean Sea, and holding 1 of each together.

I really like how the 2 colors look together! Nachaele is using a slightly different pattern from Peony Knits called the Anthropologie Capelet. I may try that pattern next with 2 different colors of yarn; maybe a couple of pinks?

I’m still working on my 2nd Buttonhole Bag. We have a 3 day weekend coming up (yippee!), so I’m hoping to finish the bag and maybe even finish my shrug! I’d better get busy :)
