I still need to add 3 more inches to this, but here’s the progress of my Girly Bag:

I have to make a 2nd side just like this, and then I do a 3 needle bind off. I have no idea how to do this, so I hope someone in my knitting group can help me…Leanne? :)

I finally finished my OSW, but I wasn’t able to get the pictures uploaded yesterday. Hopefully I’ll get that post up tomorrow!

I plan on getting a lot of knitting done next week, because I’ll be on vacation!!! :) Nathan & I will be spending the first few days of the week together, and then he’s off to Alaska for a fishing trip! He’s going with his brothers and their stepdad, so on Saturday Nathan’s mom, sister-in-law and I are going to the spa and then out to lunch :)

I have to do a bit of cleaning and a couple things with my car, but I’m looking forward to being able to just knit and relax.

  4. Love 3 needle bind off! I know it’s dorky to love a way to seam, but it’s easy and nice and strong. Heh. I can show you, too, but I probably won’t be there on Saturday. Also love the bag! :) I like the color.

  6. Maybe after Nathan takes off on Wednesday…you and I can get together and watch some movies and knit?! There are a couple fun 80’s movies that I’ve been dying to watch lately. Would you be up for a little Breakfast Club/Pretty in Pink/Sixteen Candles watchin’?

Okay, on the little three needle bind off thing…in case you haven’t already done it…I thought I would mention to you that it is really easy to use a crochet hook instead of the third needle to do the bind off. You probably don’t know what the heck I am talking about but I can show you some time if you want.
