Here’s my version of Mandy’s Candy Bag*
Pattern: Mandy’s Candy Bag by NH Knitting Mama
Started: Sunday, August 12, 2007
Finished: Tuesday, August 14, 2007 (This was my fastest project ever!)
Yarn: Sugar’n Cream by Lily
Color: Patio Pinks
Needles: Size 8US DPNs
This project was a great way for me to practice using DPN’s! I’ve only used them a few times when decreasing for hats, and I never did very well. This went much better, although I still need a bit of practice :) This is such a cute bag and a very fast knit! I may try to make some more to use as gift bags.
* This is a free pattern from NH Knitting Mama. She’s having a contest until September 3rd, if you’re interested in knitting this cute little bag. Thanks for the pattern, Amanda! :)
Since I have some yarn left over, I also started a dish cloth with a pattern my mom gave me the last time she was here:
That is just so adorable!! Great job! Love the ribbon tie! :)

Very cute bag. I like the colorway too. Good for you for working with dpns. You’ll soon be moving that dishcloth over to another set of needles though. :-)
