I started the Swirled Ski Cap on Sunday. I should have enough yarn to make a few hats. My original thought was to make as many as I can with this yarn and donate them to Kaps for Kendall. I am still going to do that, but after reading this post on Amanda’s blog, I decided to give my first hat to Megan.
I finally made it to Knit Knack last night for the Arvada knitters group. It was so great to see all of you! I really must get back into the habit of going every Tuesday. I even learned something new last night! I realized that I started knitting the wrong row on my hat, so I had knits & purls on the same side which was not correct. Of course, I realized this after knitting about 6 rows. Usually, I will just tink back (even several rows), until I get to the correct row. Otherwise, I will just frog it and start over. Last night I learned how to unravel my knitting to the row I want and then pick up stitches :) A big Thank You to Christie for all your help!
I love the colors! Can’t wait to see your hat when it is completed! Thank goodness for knitting friends, ha?
