So I’ve actually been doing quite a bit of knitting lately! I had a nice amount of time to knit Saturday in between washing loads of laundry. Charlie was happy to sit on my lap. For a little bit I had both cats on my lap, but luckily Kennedy decided our bed would be more comfortable. It’s kind of hard knitting with 2 cats on your lap!
I think Charlie was slightly annoyed that I got up to take care of the laundry! I was actually contemplating whether or not I should put my knitting in the bag before leaving Charlie al0ne with it.
As you can see, she got quite comfortable sleeping on the bag, and stayed there for the rest of my knitting time.
Isn’t she the cutest!?! :) I’m working on the front of Salina (Rav link), and I’m hope to finish it by this weekend. Then I’ll attempt to knit both sleeves at the same time and hopefully have a nice sweater this fall!

Love that color! Gretchen is thinking about being a lap dog more and more, but I miss having a pet in my lap while I knit. Maybe that’s because it hasn’t been a terribly hot summer…

I wish my kitties would sit in my lap when I knit!! Heidi will sit on the stool and try to snag my yarn as I am knitting but that is as close as I can get one to “snuggling” while I knit!!

I wish my kitty was a lap cat too – he was initially when we got him, but when he does jump up when I’m sitting in a chair, he’s just there to check it out and then immediately jump back down. I’m hoping things will change once the weather gets colder :)
Your cats are well behaved around your yarn – mine tries to attack the yarn, so I have to be careful when I’m knitting.

Puss tries to get in my lap while I’m knitting, but she’s so big that I end up holding my needles about level with my mouth. lol Love the pictures!
