Happy June, happy first day of Summer and happy Father’s Day! How are you friends? It has been pretty hot here recently, and I hope it’s not a sign of what’s to come for the summer.
I have a few cards to share with you today. The sentiments for the first 3 cards use press plates with silver foil on black cardstock, then die cut with the coordinating dies.
For this card, I used square press plates and 3 colors of green ink to create this background for a Father’s Day card.
My next card uses round press plates with foil instead of ink for this birthday card.
This Father’s Day card uses a leaf press plate with black ink to cover the whole background. I used the coordinating stencil to color the leaves green, then trimmed it down a bit for a small white border.
My last card is quite a bit different. Nathan & I worked together to come up with this 70’s inspired card for his brother; I stamped ‘birthday’ on the inside.
* I know these cards would work for anyone, I just happened to create them for Father’s Day, and birthdays for my brother-in-law and a family friend :)
Thanks for stopping by; have a wonderful day!
