Happy Halloween Friends! Do you get trick-or-treaters where you are? We don’t usually get them at our place, but it should be a pretty nice day, so we’ll see.
Today I’m sharing the Halloween cards I made for my parents and sister. This year I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the larger pieces for both cards.
I used the Cameo to cut the large spooky house from dark gray cardstock and the card base from yellow cardstock, then I adhered the house to the card base. Next I used the little ghosts, pumpkin and boo dies to add some fun elements to the house. I also had to make the envelope, since my card ended up bigger than the cards I typically make.
My second card is quite simple on the outside, but has a fun surprise inside.
Using the same dark gray and yellow cardstocks, I used the Cameo to cut the pop-up haunted house and the card base. I also used a piece of purple cardstock for the sentiment on the front of the card. After folding the haunted house piece, I glued it to the inside of the card so it pops up when opened. I adhered the bats and sentiment onto the front of my card as shown.
Thanks for stopping by :) I hope you have a fun and safe Halloween!
