Celebrate Birthday Card

Happy October friends! We’re still in the 80’s, so it’s not feeling too fall-ish yet, although the morings/evening have cooled down. How is it where you are?

Today I’m sharing a birthday card with a fun postage stamp vibe.

I stamped these fun birthday icon images on navy cardstock, heat embossed them with silver embossing powder, and die cut the images with the coordinating postage stamp dies. Using the largest postage stamp from a nesting die set, I cut a lighter blue panel the same size as my white card base. I placed the navy die cut images where I wanted them on the light blue panel to determine where to stamp my sentiment. I also heat embossed this with the same silver embossing powder.

Finally, I adhered the light blue panel to my card base and used some thin foam tape to add the birthday icons above the sentiment as shown.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!
