I recently joined a Book Club at The Written Word. Our book for February is The Myth of You & Me, by Leah Stewart.
I went to the library yesterday and checked this book out. I hope to start reading it today. We have until March 19th to finish this book, and then we can start the discussion questions. I’m not too concerned about finishing the book in time since I usually read pretty fast; however, I am worried that I may forget some parts of the story by the time the discussion questions are posted! I think I need to learn how to read more mindfully, maybe? So I pay attention to what I’m reading and remember it later.
I’m really looking forward to participating in this book club. It seems like a lot of fun, and I’ll read many books that I may not have even heard of before. I tend to stick with books by Stephen King and Dean Koontz…I’m trying to read all the books they’ve ever written!
And we are so happy to have you! Don’t worry about forgetting the plot. Once we start posting questions is tends to jog your memory!
