This past weekend Nathan & I went down to Trinidad to visit some of his relatives. We had some rain on the way down, and when we arrived we saw this:
We saw a rainbow the next day too, but this time you could see the whole thing (and me without my camera). It was nice spending time with his family; we just hung out and enjoyed each others company.
Since I drove part of the way there and back, I didn’t get too much knitting time in. But I did get some more done on my Chevron scarf that I started last week.
I’m using Red Rocks Fiber Works yarn in 2 colors: Artichoke and One Wild Night. This picture shows the color better:
Last night I met some ladies at Lollicup and I knit some more on my Tomato. I only have 4 rows of the colorwork left! I can’t wait to see how it looks when I finish using the darker color. I hope it looks ok :)
Thank you for all your nice comments on my felted leaves and all the other projects I’ve attempted. I really appreciate it :D
What beautiful colors in that scarf! Well done! Can’t wait to fondle…. um SEE it in person.

Your chevron is lovely. Bright and vibrant colors are always lovely in the bleak winter. What is the main difference between the chevron and a feathers and fan?

Your chevron scarf is looking great!! Nice color combo and how cool it’s out of Red Rocks yarn!! I still have mine OTN and not much done on it, but I sure want to wear it someday, so I guess I should knit on it!!
