Time To Start Holiday Cards!

Since it’s the last day of STAMPtember, I thought I would share a few cards I made yesterday for the upcoming holidays. I skipped over Halloween, so I’ll have to work on those cards soon. :)

For these two cards, I used the Birch Leaf stamp set from Neat and Tangled. I won this set from Miriam Prantner’s blog. Thank you Miriam!!

This leaf design is so fun! I stamped it in various spots on both a dark red cardstock panel and a kraft panel using VersaMark ink. Then I used WOW! Embossing powder in Metallic Gold Rich for both the leaf and sentiment. I love the font on this sentiment and the other two in the stamp set.

I purchased the exclusive Joy of the Season stamp set by Gina K. Designs this month from Simon Says Stamp. I really love the tree outline stamp in this set! I again stamped everything with VersaMark ink onto a dark blue cardstock and used WOW Embossing powders in Opaque Bright White and Metallic Silver. If I do this design again, I will use white embossing powder for everything. The silver is a little hard to read in certain lighting. After the stamped images were complete, I splattered white paint over the whole panel for a snowfall look. Then I glued the panel onto a shimmer white card.

There are a lot of fun stamps in this set. I’m looking forward to making my Christmas cards with them!

Enjoy your day!
